The Trails And Travails Of Owning A Chalet Company In Chamonix Mont-blanc
I had previously completed a snowboarding season in Meribel with my girlfriend before going to Chamonix Mont Blanc. That was my first taste of doing a winter season. I have to admit this is when I fell in love with Chamonix.
However, back then I was not able to get an extravagant ski chalet. We hadn’t even heard of catered ski chalets in Chamonix then. All we had was a two bedroom flat for five of us.
During the last 10-15 years, Cham has changed to a quite different skiing resort. When I first came to Chamonix Mont-Blanc the streets were filled with bearded mountaineers and trained snowboarders. A lot of the old seassonaire restaurants have disappeared. Bought, done up and relaunced as chic cafes with matching prices. The town centre is definitely smarter than it used to be, which is certainly a good thing, however I question whether it has lost a bit of its heart and soul. There is now also a lot of accommodation options to choose from in Chamonix Mont Blanc. Chamonix Mont Blanc ski chalets are a dime a dozen now; you can find catered chalets in all price ranges and comfort levels, but the most prevalent one is the luxury catered catered chalet holiday, where first class accommodations are likely.
So what have I done since my initial journey to Cham ? I established a catered chalet in Chamonix company. My catered ski chalet originally was small and slept 6 people. However, as I began to make profits I was able to start renovating it. Today, a decade on, I own three Cham catered ski chalets and I am living out my greatest fantasy.
